1. VIRUS news? [1]
Hi group, Can someone clear something up for me? I've seen the virus alerts going around but I just don't understand how it is physically possible for an email letter to destroy a hard disk, just by reading and not down-loading. Anyone know? Cheri Lee McElroy cmcelroy@mexia.com http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/2840 John RHEA 1765 VA> John RHEA 1804 TN> Sarah RHEA 1848 TN

3. Rhea-Ray-Wray [0.979407]
Things I have said are coming back to haunt me. Does anyone know of a Rhea listed 1850 Pike Co. Ky. census, by 1860 census it is listed as Ray, somewhere along the way it is spelled Wray. My Rhea's were listed in the census always as Ray. But on Documents, and where they had to sign their name it was Rhea. the census taker spelled it the way it sounded. This one in the first paragraph is not mine, but One of our new subscribers. I know some Rhea names were changed to REA, others that were REA changed to

Pat,
I have been working on my husband's Ray line from E. Ky, for sometime. The
spelling was 'Rhea' on the 1850 Pike Co., Ky census and then changed to 'Ray'
in 1860. I have this line back solid to Lindsey Ray/Rhea b. abt 1805 in Va.
I think that his father was John Watson? Wray/Ray, Sr. who married Rutha
Robertson in Amherst Co.,
7. Rev. Jos. Rhea [0.979407]
I went through Bristol TN this past weekend and had the great privilege of visiting the Weaver Union Church (Presbyterian and Methodist) cemetery. The 8-foot obelisk with Rev. Jos. Rhea's family's names inscribed on it stands in full view and is a wonderful memorial to him. What a debt of gratitude we owe to the persons who got the info from the old stones before they got illegible! Weaver Cemetery is on Highway 358 (Weaver Pike), 2.7 miles south of the racetrack overpass (394) and just south of the East Vo

13. Re: How do you want to do this? [0.979407]
I know they are working on this. Also if you get duplicate messages let me know. What I understand is that Rootsweb has configured things so that it is automatically reply to list. Unless of course it is really private mail, then that would go to the individual. What their saying is that if I put your name in the CC column, and in the to column Rhea-L you get a double message. Do you? My problem is that I have been getting double messages from my lists, and it was only Rhea-L. Pat
14. your recent posting to RHEA newsgroup [0.979407]
Thanks Ed, for your thoughts on the possible connection of John Rhea Sr. and Febra to the Matthew tree. Someone asked me a few weeks ago if I thought John Sr's group connected to the main branch of the Rheas and my reply was, "NO, because if we did, I think Ed Foley would know about it by now," In the event and for those interested, I have a few minor corrections and observations re. your message. I did first think that Sterling Rhea (March 1, 1827) died in Johnson Cty. Arkansas because the photo of him
