Family names are the same .Could please help on this I just contacted the jackson county vital records they could not find anything thanks Charles

Reason- Jackson County could not find anything , is because records did not have to be kept anywhere until 1910 or so. I would check with Cass County Historical Society, Gen. Society. which you can find through usgenweb.org These societies would be in Harrisonville, Mo. Unfortunately census takers only spelled the last names the way they sounded to them. so don't leave out the Ray. You might also check bates co. mo and howard co mo. parts of them went into Jackson co mo. I will also do some checking too,
