I have noticed that not very many people have been posting on the lists since
Sept. 11th.

Just have a question about Elizabeth Breden. She couldn't have been a
daughter of Matthew Rhea and Mary Looney. ..
They had a daughter, Elizabeth Looney Rhea, born 4 March, 1822, who married
a cousin, John Rhea, in 1840, and who died in 1892.
Elizabeth Breden was the wife of William Rhea, and her parents were
Elizabeth Dysart Breden and John Bredan/Braden. Her sister, Frances married
Joseph Rhea, and a sister, Nancy Breden married Samuel Rhea.
Hope this corrects what is likely a typo in your let
John Rhea son of William Rhea and Elizabeth Breeden. Elizabeth was daughter
of Matthew Rhea and Mary Looney.
Is there any interest in this family genealogy or do you all already have it.
I have 51 pages by Robert E. Rhea.
If you have any questions I would be happy to look it up.

Hi all
Merry Christmas and good hunting in the new year.
I've never posted to the list so far as all my Rae's appear to have stayed
in Scotland until this century (at least as far as I know)
However could not resist this one. An English opera singer turned
comedienne used to say she always sang with Gusto "and you should have seen
Gusto!!" so I suppose it must be a surname. VBG.

I am interest in any or all the references to the descendants of Mathew
Rhea. Especially thos leading to John L. Rhea, married to Hattie Redwine in
the late 1800's I beleive this is my family line.. There were two John L.
Rheas in Knoxville in the same time fram. One was never married, and the
other had five children. The later is my John L. They both appear to have
some common relatives, howver, so I don't know what the relation may be.
Cousins perhaps. Thanks for your help. Dr. Bob!
