Are there any Arkansas Ray researchers out there? My great grandmother
Mary Maggie Nance Ray died at the State Hospital in Little Rock,
Arkansas. She had been in the hospital 13 days and lived in the state
for 1 year. She lived in Ouachita County. The undertaker was P. H.
Ruebell in Little Rock and the body was moved to Camden Arkansas.
Are there any historical newspapers in Camden during this time or any
cemetery record books for that time, perhaps published by a local gen

Good information on Daniel Campbell. Seems to fit what we know about Walter's
son and family. However, the info I have in my records shows Walter, Captain
of Skipness married Jane Campbell, not Mary Campbell. Eventually we will be
able to piece this entire connection together. Unfortunately for me the

"Benj. Ray was ordered to be bound out by the Church Warden of Meherrin
Parish. Benjamin was bound out 6/28/1773 as a bastard son of Edy Ray
