I recently saw a listing of common historical names in Ireland, and the name "McCarte Reagh" was on the list. I know I have seen this name before, in researching my maiden name of McCarty. Does anyone were have any information about the "Reagh" part, or any other information? I do not know where my family came from, but it was probably Ireland, before 1740. Anelle McCarty Kloski

Am trying to backtrack another line. Have found the family on the 1850 Census but on this particular page the place of birth was not listed for anyone on that page. My gggrandfather is listed with his mothers, sisters and brother. Apparently his father was dead by this time. Because of the age of the youngest child, he apparently died in the ten years previous. I am trying to find out the father's name. I am looking for names based on the son's names but with some difficulty. I have not been able to d

I have lots on this P. V. Rhea. What do you need. I am enclosing a family group report as well as my line of descent below. I (and all other researchers I know of) have not been able to find parents for him, although plenty of rumors abound. He is NOT the son of John and Sally Rhea of Lincoln County, TN, but is probably related to them in some way. He may be a grandson or nephew. Denise Santa Clara, CA Pleasant Vincent Uriah Jackson H. Ultimately, this is always a personal question and, if you don't know all the parties involved, you can't figure out how they would react prior to contacting them! For example, my grandfather Washington M. Rhea II had another family after he and my grandmother divorced. I'd like to find the other family, but my own family is tight-lipped about who they are. People from the generation of my grandparents and parents respond quite differently to divorce than do people raised in the 60s and after. Personally, i
