Hi,
Recently Online I found a website maintained by Will Rhea where he is
"trying to link all of the webpages/sites of all people in the Internet
whose surname is RHEA and who pronounce it RAY."
His URL address is:
http://www.rheafamily.org/
Currently, most of those now listed are "family pages" without much
genealogy but he said he has been contacted by quite a few people who
are interested in listing.
I now have my website Online with a lot of Rhea's, Jacksons, Lobdells,
Pomeroys and others. My site
Pat,
Put me on the list. Dr. Bob! >rbarnes1@ij.net<
I found a large number of Rea's in Western NC last year and have it printed out.

Perhapsyou are looking in the wrong place for Moses Rhea's Will. Perhaps
it was in Lawrence Co., TN. I don't know for sure but who knows?
Perhaps you have also seen what I posted before about the Baptism for the
Dead amongst the Mormon Records about Moses Ray (your Moses).
"Moses Bolling Rhea is buried on the old Rhea farm just inside the
Lawrence County line near Highway 25."

Good Morning Everyone,
I am spending my holiday by sending and searching.

Pat, just read the list of names for Samuel Rhea. This is the Samuel Rhea
born in Pike county Ohio son of William Rhea and and Elizabeth Boiler. His
wife was Ellen Wilday. Found the site interesting as it lists a lot of
information on the Wilday family also as well as the children of Samuel.

Pat,
Thanks for all your hard work. My great-grandfather was John L. Rhea in
Knoxville Tn born in 1868. There was also another John L Rhea, in Knoxville,
obviously kin to my John L because of many similar names. I wonder if this John
L. listed on the 1860 list was his father. This John L. died in 1914, and I have
a copy of his will. For a while I confused it with my GG-grandfather John L.
Rhea.
2nd question? Does this slave schedule list owners as well as slaves? Was

Does anyone have any information on a Paul Rhea from Saltville VA?
His wife was Matilda Dye. They had a son named Estel Bennard
who was born in 1895 I believe. Estel married Georgia Elizabeth
Puckett. Would appreciate any info.

RHEA list: Ed Foley has posted that a sword used by John Rhea, son of Rev.

There WAS a sword owned by Lt. Matthew Rhea, as well, and it was presented to him

The sword went with Lt. Matthew Rhea, son of Matthew Rhea and Mary Looney, and
the grandson of Matthew Rhea. Lt. Rhea was a Confederate soldier and in a
