With the help of the Missouri Archives I have found another of my
transplanted Reas.
Robert was the son of Robert and Charity Rea, grandson of Abner and Alsey
Hopper Rea.His older brother (my greatgrandfather) Simon was just two
counties in Pemiscott County at this time.
We have located the information requested for Robert & Florence Rea in
Bollinger County on the 1900 census page 176A - MF#257.

The Rhea Family came from Scotland and Ireland, but the name is German.
Originally it was pronounced "Ree-uh" but now pronounced "Ray".
Ezekiel Rhea had six older brothers, all in the Revolutionary War. His sons
were William, Sebird, Moses and Ezekiel

Thought this might interest you. It comes from the Bath Co. Ky. List.
KY tried a statewide vital statistics system starting in 1852. The various
counties recorded births, marriages & deaths from 1852 to 1859 (although I
am sure not all got recorded). These records are available at the county
court houses,
and also can be obtained on microfilm from the LDS libraries.
After that it fell apart. Some counties have scattered birth records after
that
when they tried several times to get statewide record
Sent to me from another list. and I can tell you that sometimes this was

Found this in a newspaper called, The Family Tree
Most countries have their own naming customs, but the Scots had a very highly
developed system of naming children. It went:
The eldest son after the paternal grandfather.
The 2nd son after the maternal grandfather.
The 3rd son after the father.
The eldest daughter after the maternal grandmother.
The 2nd daughter after the paternal grandmother.
