3. Re: [RHEA] Ezekiel Rhea m. Elizabeth Pryor [1]
There has been no association established between the family of Moses and Elizabeth Morris Rhea and the descendants of Matthew 'The Rebel' Rhea found to date. The biblical names used for generations in the family of Moses were very different from the names commonly used in the family of Matthew Rhea. ED FOLEY
4. RE: [RHEA] Ezekiel Rhea m. Elizabeth Pryor [1]
The Matthew Campbell Rhea that I refer to is the one that was exhiled from Scotland and changed his name to Rhea. If you search on his name in a search engine, you will find his story. His line seems to be well researched but their are some sons with no other information. --- Don Holland wrote: > Francie, > William Pryor Rhea is my 2nd great granduncle. Francie, William Pryor Rhea is my 2nd great granduncle. I am descended from Ezekiel also through his son Moses. I am very interested in learning more of the connection between the Rhea family and Campbell family as Moses son, another Ezekiel, married a Campbell who is my great grandmother and I can find absolutely nothing about her family. Who is the Mathew Campbell Rhea you refer to? Don Donald Ray Holland in San Antonio, TX -----Original Message----- From: Robert Owens [mailto:rowens007@yahoo.com] Sen

http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/inddbs/5445.htm This explains about the 1890 Fed Census, and what counties and states are left. I also thought it was interesting that the 1890 census- family records, were recorded one sheet of paper for each family. 1890 census was only one done this way, and the first census that included so much info about each family member. Hi all, I'm back on the Rhea List after a couple year absence, and just thought I'd post what little I know about my Rheas (actually spelled Rea), and see if anybody has a connection. James W. Rea, born in California; He married Lora Pyle, who was also born in California. They had one son named Thomas Rea (my great-grandfather), born April 10, 1880 in Santa Clara, California, & died December 1, 1937 in Yreka, California. Any connection? Rod Headington

Charley, If they were married in Jackson Co Mo, I would contact that county for the marriage certificate. That would list Amanda's maiden name. If you know where he died then I would get his death cert. and then get the funeral home jacket file. The death cert. will list the funeral home or at least the undertaker From: charles e rhea Hello PatriciaI'm still searching for info on my ggf James R. Rhea.
