I to have a Samuel Rea that is a mystery and a dead end to me. It is not
likely to be your Samuel but it is worth a shot to write to you. My Samuel
Rea was probably born in 1737 in Albemarle VA. He was married to a Jean
Maupin in 1757. He died 1788 in Albemarle VA. Any info would be greatly
appreciated.

I reaally need the assistance from a genealogist that is informed about the
RHEA lists in Virginia between 1800 & 1850. ~ The 1850 census in Iowa
indicates that my great grandfather James L. Rheaand his mother Almonson Rhea
moved from Virginia to Mahaska County Iowa about 1848. ~ There is a record of
a William Rhea and a Alamonson Shiply marriage in 1825 at Rockridge,
Virginia. ~ I would hope that the two ladies are one and the same ~ Anyone
with this William Rhea on there list that will tie in with

Hello: Just a comment about all the RHEA families--I wonder why all of them
named their children JOHN RHEA, JAMES RHEA, ANN RHEA, HANNAH RHEA, David Rhea
and the like My line starts with Robert and Jannet (Janet) Hampton Rhea in
Monmouth, NJ. Who were Robert's parents? Thanks to a researcher in NJ, I
have been able to trace my Rhea line in America, but I have no idea who his
parents were in Scotland or Ireland. I know they were Covenant
Presbyterians. I know that my third great grandfather,
