None of these graves have been located, though I suspect the two graves
with uninscribed fieldstones in the Peter LeValley Cemetery may belong
to John and Ann. The rest were probably buried at Cowesett. The
LeValleys did own land in Coventry as well as Warwick.

I just joined the RI Cemeteries list, hoping someone might know about
the vanished Cowesett Cemetery somewhere around West Warwick, where the
early generations of the LeValley family were buried. An elderly
relative once told me it has been paved over and is now the parking lot
of a restaurant. I read somewhere that a few tombstones still stood
around 1900. Did anyone record those names? Were any graves moved?
Are people still buried under the parking lot, and exactly where is
that? I would appreciate

Dear List Members:
I just want to take a moment to remind you that you should never give
information on living persons in your messages without their permission
or the permission of their parents if they are children.
The most important reason for this is the right to privacy. You also
need to remember that anything you post goes into the archives of that
list and stays there. It cannot be removed but it can be copied and
added to any ones site out there in the world of the internet.
