Recently, a new Genealogy series has been mentioned as starting in June on one of the TV networks or cable Stations.
Does anyone know what date and time it will start and on which network or cable station it will be shown?
thanks

I just found this store's web page and it looks great. Lot's and lot's of Genealogy books for research in the U.S.
I haven't tried to order yet, so I don't know about service.
It's worth a look at their lists.

There were state census' done from 1865 through 1935, every 10 years. Only
the 1895 Census is missing, the rest are available on microfilm from the LDS.
I believe the 1865 is indexed and also on microfilm (LDS). The 1875 is
indexed, but only on a card file at the RI State Archives, Westminter St.
Rest are not indexed.

Alice Smith, born 1664 in Providence was daughter of Edward Smith and
Amphillis Angell. Edward Smith was son of Christopher Smith and Alice
( ). Amphillis Angel was daughter of Thomas Angell and Alice
Ashton.
I have lots more information on this SMITH line (also lots on John
Smith the Miller), though not much more on Amey Whipple besides her
two children (Anne & John) by her first husband John Crawford.

Hi Karen,
I'm also researching the Lonardo surname. I know that there were/are quite a
few in the Providence area, but perhaps we can find a connection:
Emilio Lonardo (b. 6/5/1897; d. Sep 1978, Cranston, RI) married Immacolata
(Margherita) Striano 4/3/1916, Providence, RI (b. 12/8/1899, Ischia, Napoli,
Campania, Italy; d. Jan 1983, Providence, RI). Their children: 1) Lorenzo T.
(b. 1/17/1918, Providence, RI; d. 5/2/1996, Providence, RI) married Maria C.

Ignore the jerk (even if he does have my son's name). He could have have
just deleted your messages if he disliked them so much and not posted such a

the chats, I like to hear about them, too. One of these days, I'll be at my

Dick, et. al,
Thank you all for the information regarding the state census.
If I understand your post correctly, there is a 1935/36 state census
available, but the 1930 federal census is not available.
Thanks again.

I;m just getting over the stomach virus but hope to get to the State
Archives either Sat or the beginning of the week. I will look up these
names because I know they have some directories going gack to the late
1800's I don't know what cities. If you can give me a time frame I can
also run the birth, and death records. They are there starting with 1850,
And the Arnold collection is there from 1600 to 1850.

Thanks susan. I am doing my best to utilize my time on the net. I spend three
days of research on the thing, 2 days out in the field. and one 2 days a wk to
focus on files for 2 families only. I have almost got it down to an art form.
I try and get into the chat rooms when I can. Even if I don't have family I can
always get helpful tips that I have not thought of yet. I do have family in the
Canada, but my line came to the US via Canada.
Well, Just bk from a kick box class, going to address a few envel
