Doanda Risley married Gideon Putnam in 1784. I have Doanda Risley's parents as Benjamin Risley and Sarah Smith. Can anyone tell me who the parents of Sarah Smith was. My mother did our WRISLEY or RISLEY genealogy in the pre-computer days. She showed Richard RISLEY as being married to Mary (unknown) or posssibly (ARNOLD). I realize that this is no help in the maiden name question, but while she showed no birth date for Mary, she had a death date of abt. 1655.
