Forgot to mention that it would be rather interesting if this line turned out to be William FAULKNER's ancestral line as Thomas Lanier "Tennessee" WILLIAMS was a descendant of Israel ROB*SON.

10. ROBINSON: MS & AL [0.979447]
I am looking for anyone that may be researching the ROBINSON line in MS and AL, mainly in the Newton, Clarke, Jasper, Lauderdale counties of MS and adjoining counties of AL, particularly Choctaw Co., AL. My gg grandfather, Thomas ROBINSON was born in Jan 1836 supposedly in Choctaw Co., AL and moved to MS around 1850-1857. He married Cynthia Ann Buckelew and had 15 Children, so there should be some connections out there somewhere. I have good reason to believe his father's name was either Berry or Littleb

14. re Black Dutch [0.979447]
Hello Ken: When my mother was a young girl, she would hear her grandmother talk about being Black Dutch. She said that it really bothered her because she did not know if it meant the color of the skin. She found out later from her grandmother that she referred to herself as "Black Dutch" because it meant the color of the soil in the Netherlands where her family was from. 15. Robinsons & Canada [0.979447]
Greetings, I've been trying to piece a lot of fragments together and I think I'm looking for Eliza or Harriet Eliza Robinson who was born ~ 1851 in Canada (probably New Brunswick or Nova Scotia). Her mother's name might have been Eliza (or Harriet) Cove who was married in Westmorland ~1838. Eliza Robinson was married three times--I'm not sure of spellings, but this is what I have: marriage #1 - Daniel or Henry (or combination) COGELL (he is supposed to have "died" at sea) marriage #2-Henry

Dear List Members, Due to a computer "Glitch" in my Microsoft Explorer, my mail froze up and then sent out many duplicate messages before my ISP could help me delete the outgoing message file. I am very sorry that this occurred, it was not intentional. Thanks for the interesting information. I note that Samuel Clemmons had folks to come from those areas, but I don't know how he may have been connected, or if he was at all. Another interesting name, Foster. I have heard that the song "Way down on the Pee Dee River" was the first, but not used, title of his song. He seems connected to those same folks. It would be interesting to know if there was a "pencil" gene? (haha) Thanks for the data on Dickerson. Dickersons came into Cumberland County NC, about as
