I would be interested in the Roll/Rall line that you have. I believe they are in my husbands line.
Thank you, Roberta

Looking for information on my great-aunt Lottie and great-uncle Edgar and aunt Helen. Lottie was born in Illinois in 1885, moved to Linton in the 1890's, and married Edgar in 1902. They had a daughter Helen born 1904. They subsequently divorced, Lottie moved to Chicago in the 1920's. Edgar died in 1933 at L
My John Szott was born December 24, 1883. He lived in Chicago until 1918 when he moved to Saginaw, Michigan which is where he spent the rest of his life. The children's names are as follows -- I've included the married names of the girls: Lucille Crooks, Estelle McGraw, Marie Ferguson, Irene McParlon, Pauline, Eleanor Hess, Joseph, Harold, Richard, Donald, Walter, Alexander and Frank. The original spelling was Szot -- some of the older children have 1 "t" and the younger ones use 2. I'm not sure when

The January and April 2000 issues of The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record contain a two-part article entitled "The Rall/Roll Family: Descendents of Jan Mangelsen and His Wife Tryntje Van Woggelum". I do not need the issues and would be glad to mail them to anyone interested in this arti
According to the information I have here, which is still incomplete, the childrensB4 names were Jonathan jun., Virginia, and James, so it doesnB4t look like your Szot family. Jonathan (John) Szot was born before 1892 in Poland, thatB4s all I know as yet.
But in the 1910 Chicago City Directory I found SZOT, Albert, molder, h 2653 S. Whipple; SZOT, Michael, laborer, h. 1819 W 18th pl.; SZOTT, Adam, laborer, h 1748 W 18th pl.; SZOTT, John, machinist, h 2340 W. 19th. Could this JOHN SZOTT maybe be yours?

I had quite a few takers on these magazines, and no longer have them. Thanks to all who replied.

To my knowledge, Julia Szot had two older brothers, Stanley and Jonathan (John?) and two sisters, Anna and Sophia. Julia , Jonathan, and Anna immigrated to the United States, Stanley probably stayed in Poland, about Sophia I donB4t know anything yet. Jonathan was born before 1890. When was your John Szott born, and can you give me the names of his children, so I can check if there is a relation?
My great grandfather was John Szott. He married Anna Przewoznik in 1903 at Holy Trinity Polish Parish in Chicago. I don't know of any siblings that immigrated with John Szott. Do you think Julia Szott is any relation?
Norma, could David Foster be our Daniel F? I show Michael has a son Daniel

Would like to have any information on David Fox Roll m to Katie Irene Watts
ca mid to late 1800's, who lived in Muhlenberg County KY. Also need any
info on family of the father of David Roll - i.e., Michael Roll and
Elizabeth DePoyster. ... would like names of siblings
(w/birth/death/marriage dates) of both David and his father Michael Roll.
Thank you for any assistance.
Norma.
Jan Holland is on a cruise this week. Don't know if she will be able to
check her e-mail. She usually responds as soon as she is able.

I recently moved to KY to go to graduate school, and I
am now only about 20 minutes from Muhlenburg Co. Can
anyone tell me where Sears Cem. is located? I always
had the impression that Sears Cem. was either near
Paradise or in Wier. Local maps don't indicate any
cems near Paradise. I would like to get to Sears cem
to take some photos and look for other non-Roll
relatives who might be buried there. Sometime next
week I'll be making a trip out

The spellings I have are a bit different -and no David-but I believe they
are from the Penn Roll line. Below is what I have on Michael and
Elizabeth-let me know if you think they fit...

Yes, my error. Trying to answer your query and just rushed it... Rachel V
Rhoads and Abraham Roll.
Where do you fit into this line? Do you have any more on David (or any of
this line) that you can send/add/correct?
I do not have anything to back up any of the info I have sent. It has been
gathered over the years from other families so if anyone can add/correct
anything it would be appreciated.
Below is Abraham & Rachel & family. Have more on their ancestors if
interested but nothing documented...

this is my husband's line, and I also would be very interested in what you

I'm not sure but I wondered that too. I asked Jan Holland (on this list)
that question but haven't heard back from her but if I find out I'll get
back to you.

Thanks so much for writing. I was so pleased to get the data you sent. One
discrepancy is that I have Michael's father Abraham Roll married to Rachel
Vaught Rhoads (you have Elizabeth Depoister as both mother of Michael and
wife of Michael ... (:-)
Do you have any children for Abraham Roll other than Michael?
Also, strange that you don't seem to have a David Foster Roll as one of
Michael's children, as in my records he is the son of Michael Roll, and was
born 1871. I was very glad to get the names and
