Richard, my great-grandfather was Mark Rooney from Manorhamilton in County Leitrim. He came to the USA in 1875 and settled in Paterson, New Jersey. I do not know the names of his parents or whether he had any siblings. He and his wife, Sarah Lee Rooney from Glencar in County Leitrim, had 9 children, including my grandmother, Mary Rooney Keyes, all born in Paterson. My g-grandfather died in 1933.
