Hello, I am new to this list...I am the great-great-great-granddaughter of Melinda Ann Saunders, b. c1848, in Alleghany County, VA, daughter of Edwin L. Saunders and Sally Layton. She married Andrew Jackson Nicely on June 12, 1862. Edwin was probably born around 1815 in Alleghany County. Hi, I'm trying to find what became of Joseph Saunders (my grandfather) He is son of Walter Saunders and Margaret O'Toole. Born in Nova Scotia in 1861. He married Marie O'Malley in Bayfield,WI about 1893. Divorced about 1910. One unconfirmed report says he died in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Can., but don't know when.
