I am researching Robert & Elizabeth (Thomas) Broun who lived in Goose Creek, St. James Parish during the 1700's. Their daughter, Mary, married Aaron Loocock in the 1750's. Aaron Loocock was a wealthy plantation owner in this district.

Hi Gwen,
Where did you find this information? I am a Nelson from Berkeley County.
On a family group sheet I see a notation for burial as "Beach Hill". This ancestor lived in the lowcountry (Colleton, Berkeley, and Charleston counties), but it could have been a matter of boundry lines changing in some cases, not a move. Anyway, does anyone recognize Beach Hill as a cemetery, a community,...? Any help would be appreciated.

HI all,
We have uploaded a section of the Berkeley Memorial Gardens Cemetery
headstones, also a section of Macedonia Cemetery. I am still double-checking
my spreadsheets for errors. There are a couple of broken links but Mike will
fix those tonight, last night the server was out.
Also George Ballentine contributed a portion of the St. Stephen Cemetery &
all of Pine Tree Plantation Cemetery. THANK YOU GEORGE!
There are also 123 pages of Will Book 52 from Charleston. All documents were

Does any know if any of the funeral homes operating in Berkeley County today were in existance in 1912? Any information would be appreciated.

for 1024X768 pixels, I did not see that there was a problem, however, my
wife's screen is only set to 800X600, we could see it on hers. After seeing
the problem on my wife's screen, I changed the font size of the table, which
