Hi, My ancestor , ANN STANDARD , according to Bible records , was born Oct. 21 , 1763 , and was married to JOHN HODGES , who was born in Greenville , S.C. I have been told that ANN and JOHN lived in CHERAW DISTRICT , though I have no proof of that. There was , however , according to the 1800 S.C census index , a JOHN HODGES listed in Darlington , and a William Standard listed there as well. Currently looking for any connectio between my gggrandfather and any Nobles of Darlington Dist. According to information he gave on his CSA pension, he was born in Darlington Dist., in 1831. His family moved to AL before 1839. Then they moved into FL. His father is possibly Eli Nobles first found in the Conecuh Co., AL census in 1840. But I have no proof. NOW I need help locating the "Jessie Lotta Hodges Records".
