The writing of where, is almost unreadable so I am guessing it to be Cheraw. Am I correct that the the river is there. Can anyone help me on this. Was his wife's name Mary Harriet ? He is first seen in S. C. 1790 First Census of the U.S. living in Georgetown District, Prince Georges
