The following is a message from Dr. Connie McNeill correcting the name on 1946

Thanks to those who read them carefully and share their knowledge. As unsual,
some handwriting and some microfilm versions are difficult to read. Please
correct the info. as posted before so errors will not be passed one.

The attached census records for Whitfield Moss/Morse show 2 wives. The
question we are working on is the 2nd wife Susan and daugher Ida, age 1.

will which names her as a daughter and distributed her share to Disey and
husband Whitfield Moss.

I am searching for the burial place for Martha Ann Klugh died 1884. She was married to Robert R. Fooshe. Robert is buried at Bethlehem Cemetery with his daughter, Mittie, and her husband, William A. Collins.
Thanks for any help.

NOTE: typo - the DC is 1947 to match the death date. Don't know where I was
when I typed this.
Information sent to me by another researcher and info. from the Red. Hill
Church Cem., gives his birthdate as 1875. Remember, the only thing that is
primary info. on a DC is the date of death.
Mrs. Ben Rubenstein is his daughter, Mabel Prescott.

Jim,
Thanks for clearing that up. I typed it in wrong, which goes to show why
original research and several folks checking up on inf. is so important.
FOLKS on lists.
In a previous posting of the following death cert., I gave the date of birth as
Nov. 12. Please note the correction of Nov 2 in the edited info. below:

In the death certificate that I posted last week for mr. William Fred Dorn, the
date of birth is April 12, 1897 rather than 1887.
I rechecked the certificate as HC Ouzts had the 1897 date.
It also seems that the part of the cause of death that I could not quite make
out could be "pistol shot __ of spine"
According to HC, Fred was killed in the gun fight that erupted after the Davis
Way Timmerman/Susie Stidham-Logue feud.
That is something that I am not familiar with as I don't really research the

The information seems to be that of Garrett's that connect to the Garretts who
came to SC. I have read info. on them, but do not have them in my files, but
think this Nicholas Garrett mentioned in the Will is the one in SC.
Just forwarding the info. Hopefully the will of John Garrett will help
someone.
