As a Windows XP Home Edition user, I was being driven crazy by constant gray
pop-up "Messenger Service" ads, every time I went online.
I did a search and quickly found the University of Virginia Information
Technology and Communication's Web page entitled "How to turn off Windows Messenger
Service." The URL is

As you can see I'm watching email and forwarding what I feel is
important for you to know. I hope some of you will consider accepting a
nomination for one of these offices. I believe you will find holding a
CSGA office rewarding personally and for your society. PLEASE do
consider nominating some one in your organization or volunteering as a condidate.
I will not have a surface mail adderss until I reach Arkansas in about
two weeks. I have rented an apartment for one month while I visit

their US Senator to support Senator Hatch's resolution.
I am hearing some wonderful plans for family history month activities.
If your organization and community have not yet begun planning it is not
too late. Contact your city, county, state and national representatives
supporting resolutions to declare October as Family History Month.
