I have three Gores in my family file.
A father Albert Gore (married to Charolett Unknown) whose child was Sarah
Gore, born 1760 in Horry Co, SC, married in 1789 to David Hucks and who
died in 1835. Their children were: William Albert Hucks b1790, David K.
Hucks b1792, Sarah Hucks b1794, Mary Hucks b1796, Joseph Hucks b1798, and
Charlotte Hucks b1800. David Hucks's line goes back to England in 1550.
I am particularly interested in any information about this line of the
Hucks family since I believe it

Dear List,
This is a note to "brag" a little. On March 3, 1998, I became a first
time grandmother to a 7lb. 9 ounce baby boy. Bradley Jacob Martin was
delivered by C-section (frank breech position) at Children's Hospital in
Albuquerque, NM. at 10:47 a.m. and "grandma" was in the delivery room!
Except for a bit of jaundice and figuring out this breast feeding stuff he
is doing great!
Things should settle down soon but I wanted you all to know what's been
going on. For those of you interested in
Please hold my email, I am going out of town for a period of time, I
will contact you when I return.
Thank you

Hi,
I have been looking for a Philip/Phillip Phillips for ages. And thought
I would finally get around to posting this to you all, hoping that
someone out there can help.
My Philip/Phillip Phillips had a daughter named Elizabeth, date of birth
about 1765, who married William Lewis who was born about 1760/1765 in
Bertie Co., NC.
I have found Philip in Marion County, SC, records in 1801 when he made
suit for letters of administration of William Lewis, late of Little Pee
Dee. He was also listed in a pet

I looked for Horry County residents in the 1812 Pension Abstracts
located at the National Archives branch near SF & I found the following.
This book is only indexed by pensioner name, so it isn't easy scanning
for "Horry Co" among the listings. So let me know if there are any names
you would want me to check. That way might be easier.
(p.s., if you like, there is also a volume on the Rev. War Pension
abstracts that I can check for a name. Just let me know what it is, even
if it is not for Horry County.)

Gause was the son of John Julius Gause, John Julius died in 1836.I am also
trying to find information on the Cason family. William R. Gause married
Rebecca Ann Cason about 1849 I think; their first son was born April 20,
1851.
I have just posted some of my Horry Co families on my web site. You will

WARNING: These are my working records! That is why I show as much as I
can. Also notice, that my genealogy program does not show information
that is just "penciled in." It also doesn't permit more than one choice
even when there are two equally good possibilities. Since I must confess

I wonder if anyone might have information on William Henry Gore and Edith
Inman, who were the parents of Zillah Gore Stone. I have no dates for
either Wm. Henry or Edith, however Zillah was born on August 22 of either
1830, 1836 or 1838 (having trouble reading my own handwriting!). It's
possible that they may have been from just over the Horry line, up around
in Calabash. Zillah lived in Little River though, and I think the Stones
may have been there before her. If anyone should have any dates on Wm.

Hi Carl,
First I will subscribe you to the Horry County List. After you recieve a
letter saying you have been added to the mailing list..just write a letter
saying who you are looking for. Give as little or as much information as
you feel necessary. If you have other family surnames from Horry you might
add those to (maybe something like..also researching these surnames in Horry
County). There are no strict rules on how it should be worded. I know some
listowners get really nuts about what should be i

Please send me your e-mail address so we can correspond privately. It will
also help to know the birth years of the ancestors you mention.
