Karl E. Jorgensen Sr.
WAGRAM - Karl Edward Jorgensen Sr., 66, of Wagram, died Friday, Aug. 13,
2004, in Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
Mr. Jorgensen was an Army veteran, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division.
He owned and operated Special Commodities Transport and was a member of the
American Legion.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Richard Boles Funeral
Service chapel in Laurinburg by the Rev. Billy Voss. Burial will be in
Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg.

We are going to a Shaw family reunion in NC. On the 9th we will be in
Bennetsville, SC, and could not pass up the opportunity to do a little
research on my Fields/Pledger/Allison family. We are going to the
Marlsboro County Historical Museum on Thursday, September 9.
Called the museum and got the hours they are open.

MCCOLL - Kate Hendrix Tatum, 94, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004, in
Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Tatum was born March 22, 1910 in Greer, SC to the late Thomas Judson
and Maggie Gray Hendrix. She was married to the late Ben Moore Tatum, Sr.
for 62 years. She was a member of Main St. United Methodist Church of
McColl, Delta Kappa Gamma, Carlisle Book Club, United Methodist Women and
she taught the Mollie Nielis Bible Class for 25 years.

CAMERON - Mrs. Alice Norris Clark, 65, of 192 J.R. Mackey Lane, died
Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, in Good Hope Hospital in Erwin.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hillmon Grove Baptist
Church in Olivia by the Rev. Ralph Baker. Burial will be in the church

Born in Scotland County NC she was the daughter of the late Preston Thomas
and Annie Jane Sanderson Brock. She was retired from the Mecklenburg County
School System and a member of Ware's Chapel United Methodist Church in
Washington NC.
Surviving are her husband Thomas Milton Stubbs, Sr. of the home, two sons
