Hello, I'm trying to find any and all records concerning Prettyman Berry (often mispelled Pritman, Preteman etc.). I have tracked him to a land purchase in the Cheraw District of South Carolina. In 1800, the Cheraws District was abolished and the area's of Cheraws became the modern day counties of Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington, and part of Florence.
