If you have done any on-line research work for Oconee county, your familiar with the hard-work of Ann Rogers. Thanks to Ann, approx. 30,000 tombstone inscriptions are available for viewing at http://www.rootsweb.com/~scoconee/inscriptions.html. 1. Jesse2 Wooten (James1) was born Abt. 1840 in Greenville Co., SC, and died Bet. 1900 - 1910 in Williamston, Anderson Co., SC. He married Emily J Griffin. She was born Abt. 1838 in Greenville Co., SC, and died Aft. 1910 in Williamston, Anderson Co., SC.
