I have found Elizabeth Ingram born 29th July 1866 to a Mary Ingram and the address on the certificate is 18 Aird Street Portsoy.
Elizabeth was registered as illegitimate. Mary may have been the daughter of Alexander Ingram and Elpet Gerrie who was born in 1847.
I have no more details on Mary yet

It is possible that Jane and Jean are one and the same as the names are
interchangeable. I had an Aunt named Jane Ann and she was always known as Jean.
The same applied to my sister in law who was named Jane but known as Jean.

I have been on the elis island website. I have a Jane Hill Boyd Robson that
is listed as a cousin.
Her fathers name is Joseph Robson and her mothers name is Jane. The last
known address in Scotland is 71 Clyde Street;Clydebank in 1923 when both
Father Joseph and Daughter Jane Hill Boyd Robson came to the United States.
Here is the problem: There is another researching the same family and her
information does not show a Jane Hill Boyd Robson as a child.??????.
