I am looking for information about the families of Murdo Matheson, 1770- 1845, born in the Parish of Uig and dying in Stornoway, and his wife, Catherine McKay, 1780-1845, born in the Parish of Uig and dying in Stornoway, who were married about 1810. As far as I can tell, they had at least two children, Hugh and Malcolm, whose birth dates seem to be uncertain. Malcolm Matheson was my gggrandfather.
