I am looking for Stewart Groesbeck who applied for a Civil War Pension and Mary Groesbeck who applied for a Civil War Widows Pension from South Dakota. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Have come across a Thomas Farsdal, as coming out of Trondheim, which is just west of Meraker, and he emigrated to Sioux Falls, SD. Any one heard of this name (or spellings) before?? I would sure like to share family history with anyone that is connected with above said names. Email me please, farsdale@prtel.com Thanks in advance. Roger Farsdale, Underwood, MN.

Dear List Members,
I have an obituary for my great uncle which says his sister who survived
him, Mrs. A.P. Brende, lived in Rener, South Dakota. I am unable to find
Rener using any of the numerous resources I have. Does anyone know where
this town is or was? Thanks.
Regards,
Judy McIntyre
Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer my question about
Rener, SD. I now know why I couldn't find it....there is no such place
at least spelled the way it was in the obituary I was using as a
reference. I now know the correct name is Renner and where it is. I
appreciate the help.
Regards,
Judy McIntyre

I am looking for anyone with Hendrix relatives in SD and in IA near the SD

like some of their kids stayed in IA and some went to SD. They may have been
in Akron and Chatsworth, IA. Barney has been a myst
