I am researching the John STOBBS family who lived in Beadle County in 1883 and died in CA in 1923. He was naturalized in Beadle County according to an exerpt from an article in the East River Genealogical Forum. The item was listed in either the Jan. 1886 or Apr. 1886 issue. Could someone tell me where the naturalization records are kept and how can I go about obtaining copies. I don't have the date of the naturalization, however. Thank you for any help you can give. Dear list, Once again I am on the search of the exact burial and death information of my GGG Grandfather John B. Luntsford(Lunsford) who died May 6, 1890. There are those who say he is buried in Wessington Cemetery and that it is in Beadle County and those that say Hand County.
