Looking for information on Mary Caldonia Hicks m. to Shoemaker had a son
named Kenneth Shoemaker .His daughters he called the 3 S's went to Fulton
High School in the 1960's.His wife's name was Jessie.Mary was my

I know that there are new members on the list and thought I'd post my old
query. My 3rd great grandfather was Calvin McLain Shoemaker, born 15 Oct
1818 in North Carolina. He migrated with his family to Tennessee, and then
to Texas where he eventually settled in Cherokee County, about 1845. Served
in the Civil War. Married Mary Elizabeth McCracken in Cherokee County
11/2/1846. Calvin died in Cherokee County 27 Dec 1902.
