Iam trying to find the parents of my GGGrandmother Sarah Shorter Staley. In my grandmothers bible, she has Sarah's mother as Polly Ann Long. Sarah was born 11-23-1854 in Grainger County, TN. There is a marriage listing for a Benjamin Shorter and Polly Ann Long on 12-23-1853 in Grainger County, TN. Some have said Polly married Benjamin others say Berry Shorter.
