Some of you on this list have written me about the book mentioned below that has so much Silver family information. It is called: The Diary of Sarah Morgan McKown, 1860-1899. It is a compilation from her diary of this period. There are MANY Silver family births, marriages and deaths...BUT it is localized to an area around Gerrardstown, now WV where Sarah lived.
