I am researching any Silvesters connected with the village of Stainforth
near Doncaster in Yorkshire. This village was a watermen community and
some of the Silvester families were connected to other watermen
families. Some moved to Goole and some to Norfolk. They have connections
to Oughtibridge Turgoose Warfolk Shirtlife Styring. Any interest out there.

Hi Folks,
Earlier today I sent this to another list after I had promised them
I'd send them a review of Family Tree Legends. Since Dick Eastman
has already written a very nice review and he's such a better
writer than me I instead referred them to his article from his
newsletter:
http://www.rootsforum.com/newsletter/#FamilyTreeLegends
Then I went ahead and wrote a few additional words anyway and here
they are.
I've tried the program and like it very much and I'm looking
forward to the promised add

No sign of a Hannah I'm afraid. Did your Silvesters come from Portsmouth or Harting in England? Mine are from that area. If you want to email me at:steve@showes3.fsnet.co.uk, I'll send you what I've got.

Dear members,
This is a hodgepodge of items that have come to mind that need to
be addressed with varying degrees of importance. Some of the items
addressed are due to issues that came up on some of my lists but
not all them, yet this is going out to all my lists that I
administer at Rootsweb.
The items I'm going to discuss tonight (I began writing this letter
last night) are:

I have just discovered that I am descended from Richard Silvester of
Massachusetts through the following line, Richard to John to Samuel to Joshua
to Jane who married John Kelleher. Before I start doing a lot of individual
work, I like to survey what has already been gathered on a family. Does
anybody know if there is an existing quality, well documented genealogy on
this family?
Thank you,
