Ora, Thanks so much for the information. I did already have the information included for the Shirers. The Shivelys are not connected, same for the Shivel, Shriners and Shyrock. The Shroyers are connected by marriage in Muskingum Co., OH but not in Somerset which leads me to my next question. While you are compiling these records, are you assuming they are all events which occurred in Somerset? Ruby, Gertraut is a german given name (akin to Gertrude.) Ruby, For what it's worth, I had a similar situation a few years ago where a published book on my McGuffey/Little/Henry line was out of print and was able to find a copy of it through interlibrary loan. It was a reference copy, but our librarian here was able to have the loaning library send it with the stipulation that it stay in our library while I looked at it. (This book was written in the 1970's so it wasn't fragile with age; otherwise I doubt it would have been sent.) Good luck, Judy > Ch
