Following are the Blauch / Blaugh names from the deaths database I'm working
on. The database is far from complete. As to Blough names, there are more
than 330 at present. The sources are listed at the end of the list. I do not
have good instructions on the location of the cemeteries.
Hope this helps.

If you know of anyone else that might be interested that hasn't been included in this e-mail, please feel free to forward this e-mail to them so they can subscribe. Together, maybe we can figure out some of those big, dark secrets on the RISELING family that we have all been lo
Hi,
If anyone has the book "German, Swiss, Dutch and French and other Immigrants
in PA in 1727-1776", I am interested in knowing if there are any references
to immigrants with the surnames of
Harden, Hardin, or Harding. Thank you.

Hi all, My husband and I are coming to Somerset, namely Johnstown for the
Harley Rally on 8/11-12-13. His relations were Blough, Blaugh, Blauch's. We were
wondering if there were any of the old Mennonite Churches or graveyards still
there? We also would like some suggestions as to what to see. Taking into
consideration that we will be on motorcycles. Thanks, Marlene, Ohio

John,
I will post what I have and can find along with footnotes, etc. Will also

Concerning the query about Solomon & Alwida Baker. I checked the vital
records databases that I'm compiling. They are buried at Greenville Twp. Union
cemetery. The name "Solomon Baker" appears several times in the Marriages
database, but always only as a witness to marriages.
The database compilation is still in process.

Since it shows Annie Miller mother-in-law of Solomon in 1900 census (see
below) you don't think Alwilda maiden name was Miller? I am researching the
Baker's.
Solomon is the nephew of my g-g-grandfather John Baker.
Have you checked the 1880 census for Alwilda? I will see what I can find.

We'll be in the area on Monday and would like to locate the Beachdale,
Buechley and Elias Cober Cemeteries. Could you give me directions to
those?
Thank you,

I am researching a Beaner family in Westmoreland and Somerset Counties.
George Beaner, born in England, settled in Westmoreland County with his wife
Nancy
Baker and had 7 children - John, Daniel, Lewis, Mary Katherine, Samuel, Nancy
and George.
Daniel moved to Somerset County where is had a farm. For some reason, Daniel
changed the spelling of his last name from Beaner to Beener.
Does anyone know anything about why Daniel changed the spelling of his
surname?
Thanks,
Colleen
