Hi everyone Dan Daniel is the best person to contact regarding this family as he has paid researchers and done a lot of research into the history of this very intriguing family. His address is dandaniel@telkomsa.net Peter Clarke Daniel and Samson O'Malia Daniel were brothers. Their father was John Daniel married to Elizabeth Clarke. Peter married Elizabeth Jackson on 15 April 1802 at St. Werburgh's Parish, Dublin, Ireland. They had 4 children: Peter Clarke * 6 Apr 1804 Isabella * 10 Sept 1806 Eliza Jane
4. Re: [ZA-IB] Lestrange HARDING -MITCHEL puzzle [1]
Hi Cliff Q. Why would his body be moved from Transvaal to the Cape for burial? A. Maybe because his family home was East London? For example, a fisherman dies but he stays in the Transvaal (Gauteng) However, he wants his ashes scattered over the ocean. This a common trait in South Africa. We like to keep on the move. Q. Seems she was buried under maiden surname not married surname MITCHELL. A. I don't think so. Her surname (MITCHELL) comes first, then her Christian names and then nie HARDING. Maybe have a
5. [ZA-IB] Carrick [1]
Helen Hi. Just a suggestion for you. Never found a DN for one of my husbands Bullens until Karen Meeks-Carter thought outside the square and looked under Buller and there it was. Never know when this may happen. I also found a Lange Wepener listed as Lande Wepener. This is all supposing he didn't go to England or Zimbabwe or some such. One suggestion I have for all of us is that we send a report of any errors to the archives so that the NAAIRS database can be corrected. I do this every time I find

Hi Becky/Tessa Now I am really befuddled. I have Elizabeth Ann Hartley * 1829 Bathurst as daughter of William Hartley *1796 and Hannah Baker *1808 England. She is the only child I have for them. Can anyone confirm then that all the children that William John Hartley *1896 had were from Mary Cawood. It is very frustrating to be working from a transcript of the book as I am never entirely sure that things have been transcribed correctly. I have however checked and very clearly on what I have it shows

25. Re: [ZA-IB] NEw Somerset Hospital - Carrick [1]
Hi Helen, most definitely a Hospital. Still called NSH by staff although the "New" Somerset had an additional "new" block built on many years ago. I have scanned in some pictures of it if anyone wants them. If you are ever at the Waterfront parking area look towards Signal Hill and you'll it between the MBMW Pavilion and the other office block. It is just across the road from the waterfront. Derek Pratt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Helen Roberts" To:
