After surviving a week with water damage, buckled kitchen floor, swamped
carpets (from the water heater explosion) - workers FINALLY arrived - one
week late. My office is in part of the kitchen and living room. Everything
is disconnected except the computer - books are all over the house -
furniture on the front lawn. So - I have about 15 queries yet to answer
from this list on look-ups, etc ... hang in there, haven't the foggiest
idea
where I stored the books!

I am looking for the marriage of George Payne/Paine from Green Co
KY to Frances Hawkins, daughter of John Coleman Hawkins and
Sarah Martha Bond. I cannot find this marriage recorded in the
Green Co marriage book. Must have been married in surrounding
cos or not recorded. Hawkins were from Hart Co, I think.

in Barren Co KY next week checking his Hall kin. He is a descendant of
Thomas N Hall which possibly ties in with the Judge John Hall of
