Hi Golden:
Was hoping to hear from you again. I'm sorry about your computer, been there done that and it wasn't fun.
I'm a little disappointed to not hear from anyone with some info I can use. I get copied in on lots of conversations, but no one talks to me. I'm a direct line Stamper descendant, too. I feel like a red headed step child. So many people care about finding there ancestors, I do too especially my Stampers.
I was so excited about finding your website and hopeful that at last someone somew

Cherie, I am a descendant of Benjamin Coleman Stamper, a half-brother to
your Rosie Stamper. I would love to hear from you and compare and share
information. Benjamin Coleman was born March 6, 1872 in Covington, Ky to Campbell
William Stamper';s second wife, Martha Ann Peyton.
The big mystery for me on the Stamper line is whether Campbell William
Stamper is really the son of John Jackson Stamper, as Matilda Tutt married him in
1837 and Campbell was born in 1832! Campbell is listed as her son

Golden,
Sorry for all those troubles you're having. I never could trace my great grandmother Rosie Stamper(6-2-1864). All I ever found out was her daddy was Campbell William Stamper (son of Matilda Tutt 1812 Virginia and Jackson Stamper 1818 Kentucky married 1834. I do know her dad moved from Ky to OK and that Rosie was one of his last KY born children.
Rosie Stamper married Geo (George) Floyd Blankenship May 1900 in Danese Va. I sure wish I could have known them.

Hi all
I think the past five months have been the most challenging and exhausting
that I have experienced in my 41 years of marriage. No, not marriage
problems; but everything else. From truck transmission going out, oven going
out ... everything going out ... but me ... :-)) Oh, did I say ... my
computer also went out! It has been out since the 22nd of September. This is
the longest I have ever been away from my computer. (There has been many
more challenges; but I won't even go there!

Golden,
Sorry for your troubles. Isn't it funny how dependent on computers we
have become.
I belong to another website that is on MY FAMILY.com. There is a daily
(most days) email I get with all the responses at one time. If you don't
want it to come daily, you can go to the website when you want and read
back through all the comments. It would seem like a reasonable
possibility for the Stamper family and would result in one email with
everyones comments. It also allows us to communicate one to one with
Excuse me, that last post should have been to Dorene... sorry about that

Hi,
I have personally done a bit of work attempting to document this line, and
you can view what I have found by opening the latest update of our "book" at
the FamilyTreeMaker link below.
Also, I have published the original documents pertaining to his son, Martin
W. Stamper, from his appeal to the President of the United States. That can
be viewed by following the link called "Photo Gallery" from our book page,
or by linking directly to the following link

Hi Kayleen
My computer is the only computer that has all the programs on it to work on
the webpages. I feel terrible that I cannot work on the site. So much time
has been wasted. Right now, I am being held hostage because of my
circumstances. I am trying not to complain; as I am sure there is someone
out there that would be happy to change places with me.
I am trying to think positive that it will be a couple weeks; and I will be
back online ....
Take care,
Golden
