1. The Stevens Family of Grafton County, New Hampshire [1]
I am slowly piecing together the family background of my STEVENS forebears. I am seeking information on a STEVENS family that was in Grafton County NH in the late 1700s. My gggrandfather James Spencer STEVENS was the third of nine STEVENS children born to a couple who pioneered in Piermont, NH. According to census reports, James' parents were both born in New Hampshire. James S. was born in Piermont in 1811. He had a brother Grove F.(?) STEVENS born Oct 1813, a sister Annette W. born in Piermont in Jan 18
2. Seaching for Mr. ?? Stevens [1]
Hi, I am new to the list. I am searching for the husband of Cora Flood. His last name was Stevens. They lived on a farm near Jefferson City, MO. He worked at what was called Mo. State prison as a guard. THis was in the early 1900s. I wrote the prison personnel section but they could not help without a first name which is what I do not have. I think Cora is related to Rev Noah Flood of MO. but I do not know exactly how. His son George Edward Flood had three young children when he died. Elvira was rai
3. Alfred & Joseph Stevens [1]
This is my roughly annual salvo to see if anyone has come across my elusive gggf, Alfred Stevens. He was born either in CT or ME in about 1810 and lived most of his adult life in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, where he was steamboat captain and married Susanna Emerite ("America") O'Brien. His ancestry is most elusive, though. One possible clue is that he may have had a brother, Joseph, who also lived in St. Mary Parish. Another is that he may have had relatives named Laura, Charles, and Frederick, since th

11. Re: [NHGRAFTO] The Stevens Family of Grafton County, New Hampshire [1]
Janet, I appreciate your offer of help. The 1790 New Hampshire Federal Census has three STEPHENS in Piermont, Grafton County. They are Francis Stephens(1-2-6), Moses Stephens (1-5-3), and Parker Stephens (3-3-4). It's possible that one of Parker's sons was the father of my Stevens siblings. Those I know of were born between 1811 and 1824. Actually, I suppose any one of the three could be the link. Looking forward to your "stuff." Carole Jackson Dilley

I am looking for any info on Drusilla Stevens, daughter of John and Mary, and the sister of Zilpha Stevens who married Fleet Cooper, Jr.'s son Daniel. We know from other records that Drusilla (Drusellah, Drewsiller) Stevens was married to a Mr. Cooper, and bore a son named William S. Cooper on Jan 6, 1810. Circumstantial evidences point to this William S. Cooper, as being my g-g-grandfather, William Steven Cooper, who came to GA from NC around 1840. It apears that Jonathan Cooper, son of John Cooper, son
