Thank you, Mary. The Stewart Clan Magazine sounds fascinating. Has much

Who are these folks?
Elizabeth STEWART, wife of Mordecai STEWART died in Laurel, Prince Georges County, Maryland on October 15, 1910. She was 72 years old. Looks like her father was John HAMIL and her mother was Sallie HEWEN (can't really read it), both from Ireland.
Dear Listmembers:
As it is the Holiday Season, I thought it would be appropriate
to initiate a Virtual Genealogical Gift Exchange.
I suggest that everyone post some bit of Stewart information,
record transcription, news event, obituary, or other tidbit
that may be helpful to your fellow researchers. Look outside
your own genealogy. Perhaps you have some records that you
transcribed that include Stewart information that is not your

Hi Maryanne:
There are 4 copies in the archives for the list. So... this time...
it appears it is *not* a case of your ISP releasing the mail to you
four times, causing quadruple copies. Seems that Donna's system
may have been hiccupping. Not to worry.... just delete all but
one copy of the message and all will be well.

Hi listers,
Do any of you have copies of the inventories taken upon the death of your Stewart ancestors? I am trying to determine what ethnic groups of any, would have had "moby/Mobby stands listed in their personal property. A moby stand was a container like device in which a special barrell or tub was placed into. MOBBY was a brandy like drink made from usually what ever fresh fruit was available. At times they made it with potatoes, which would become more of a Vodka like drink. I do know Mobby was

Hi Chris,
Funny, I was just reviewing my 1996 pubications of Calling All Stewarts! /

Hello Stewart Listers:
I recognize that many of us are experiencing bad weather
that may have us a bit shut in and stir crazy today.
It also seems to be wreaking havoc with the various servers.
Several of the lists are experiencing duplicate or quadruple

whether it is generated by all of the various ISPs involved,
or something internal at Rootsweb. I am CERTAIN, however that
it is not a case of any of the listers sending multiple copies

Hi Anne,
1. ANOTHER JEHU: I was looking through some of my old publications and I

does it. This Jehu died July 12, 1875 according to the SCM. Both Jehu and
Sally were born in 1787, pretty much the same age-range as my Solomon, born
in 1786. According to my article extracts, Jehu's dad
