Hi Stewart`s/Stuart`s,
I thought I`d share a recipe that I have been making
for years.
As you all know I live in El Salvador, but we
celebrate big time every year. I have a recipe for a
Sweet potato souffle that the people here love, they
beg for me to make it every year, Here goes.
6 large sweet potato`s or 6 pounds.
2 large ripe bananas`s with the peel on
8 oz. of pure maple syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teas. of pumpkin spice
1/2 teas. of cinnamon
2 cups of pecan`s chopped
1 stick of butter
1/3 cup of
Before Lauren gives me the big giant fly swatter, and
she will if you all keep giving your scores. I wanted
to add that The Southern Colonies was made up first of
all of English people, then came the Scots and Scot
Irish and others. We got that Southern Drawl from
them. I am sure if we could all hear Thomas Jefferson
speak, he would sound like a educated Virginian with
that quaint Southern accent. I might add that you
scored higher than my 1st cousin who lives in the
mountains of SW VA.

1696-1697. John died in Westmoreland CO VA in 1702.
He had: John JR, William, Ann and Elizabeth. This
family intermarried with the Chilton`s, Muse, Sturman
families. The Sturman`s were Puritans who had lived
in Kent CO MD and moved to West

The town of Butler, AL is in Choctaw County. It is SE of Meridian, MS just
across the state line.
Butler County, AL is SSW of Montgomery, AL. Greenville is the major sized
town. I-65 between Montgomery & Mobile goes through it.

of land in Arkansas for his military service. He had at least two children
with Elizabeth HESS, James and Michael. I believe they were both born in
Kentucky between 1810-1820. Charles died in Arkansas and his ch

My Stuart/Stewart line left Jackson Co., AL around 1830 and moved to Polk
Co., MO. After the Civil War, my gg grandfather came to Grapevine, Tarrant Co.
TX, between Dallas and Ft. Worth. The family slowly migrated northward,
finally moving into OK in Grady Co., which was actually Indian Territory at the
time.
I don't know what county Butler, AL is in, so don't know if any Stewarts
there are related or not. I have been told there are still distant cousins in
Jackson Co., AL area.
Lisa,
