5. Crossman Clerk Ipswich, Suffolk [1]
Hi I just posted a message about Eaton Vicar in Suffolk. Anyone researching Crossman? He was a clerk in Ipswich that died before Dec 26 1621. Anyone know if Clerk records were kept 1610-1621? i am hoping to find a record that might have his name on it. Not necessarily for himself, but signed by the town clerk who just happened to be him. If I can find his first name then I can search for a marriage record for him and an Anne. (I would then finally after all these 20 some years have a Surname for Anne

I am currently creating a database for DALDRY/DALDY for a one name study. The largest concentration of the name is in SFK, where my own ancestors came from the village of Holbrook in the Samford Hundred. The family name also moved south to Colchester,ESS & Rotherhithe, SRY & LONDON, one branch moved north to Yarmouth, NFK. All known connections have their roots in Suffolk. I am seeking information regarding George Barber Roberts born December 16, 1816 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. He was admitted to the Greenwich Royal Naval School on August 30, 1827. He remained at the school until November 3, 1830 when he became a bound apprentice to the Hudson Bay Company.
