DEXTER TANNER, born Upper Sandowsky, OH in 1848, died in MI in 1929.
I have found James Dexter TANNER on 1870 MI census, age 22, working on farm
living next to JAMES T. TANNER, farmer, born NY and wife LUCY, children
MIRANDA age 31 and GEORGE, age 26 listed as idiot. James Dexter lists his
father as having been born in NY.
This makes it appear that James Dexter Tanner is the younger son, living next
door working on his father'
