1. [TARVER-L] Georgia Tarver [1]
Hi, I am looking for information on Georgia Augusta Tarver. I cannot find her on the 1880 census. She would have been 5 but I cannot find her any where. There is a family with a 5 year old Augustus who is a son. Her Aunt and two uncles are listed, Mary, Peter and John Tarver in Troup Georgia. Unfortuantely I do not have her father's name. I have her aunt and uncle's names from letters she wrote but she never mentioned her mother or father's given names. Would appreciate any info. Apparently her Aunt
2. [TARVER-L] White & African American Marriage, Richmond County Georgia, 1884 to 1912 [1]
Last time I was in Augusta, I had some time cooling my heels in the Probate office, so I searched some marriage books for Aunts, and other Tarvers. Some of the books had race marked, so the following records have "Colored" noted where the books are so marked. Please feel free to contact me if you want me to photocopy a specific record from the books. I get down there several times a year. Book N, p. 104 Lydia Elizabeth Tarver to Charles B Richards lic. 12 Jun 1884, A.R. Walton, Clerk of Ordinary mar. 12

Dear Bob, Thank you so much for your note. We are sorrowful in our homes today, as we await word of the arrangements.
