Does anyone know about this Minerva/Manerva who was living with Stephen and Martha Breeding in 1880 in Rhea County, Dist. #2? Was she Martha's daughter? Was Martha Stephen's second wife? Were the Breedings related to the Thompson's. Manerva was shown as age 18 as house keeper for the Breedings. She is a person of interest to me because I believe she could be the sister to Maree Caroline and Eliza Jane Thompson from both Bradley and Rhea Counties. Hi Wanda: Welcome to our list! I have a William Richard Thompson in my line from Marion Co., but I don't think he ever went to Bradley Co. I'll take a look through my notes and see if I have anything else. I'll get back to you... Thank you so much. I found William A. as a Confederate Soldier. The William I need would have been born around 1822 to 1830. His wife would have been Martha but not sure if that was her First name, middle or just called Martha. I do not know her maiden name. but info. Does anyone have info. in their family trees regarding any of these three? I am trying to tie them together as brothers or cousins. In 1860 census for Bradley Co.,Tn. There is a Richard Thompson-born 1830 with wife Martha and three daughters (Maree Caroline, Eliza Jane and Manerva). Irby Thompson with wife Polly lives close by. Were they brothers?
