3. [TMG] none primary events [1]
Dear All, I've just noticed that when I produced a tree/chart that I got a few baptism dates instead of birth dates. I had never realised before that if the baptism is primary, the birth record is ignored on a chart (possibly in other reports to?). I probably have a few of these mix-ups, so I tried to list "none primary" events so I could check to make sure I had the correct "primary" events. It might also throw up other similar instances. But I could not see a way of doing it. Has anyone else managed to

9. [TMG] Name styles [1]
Ahhh Teresa- you always answer- that's so nice of you. What are you using for your name style? Do you add "(given age [Age])" only to the output template? That way the picklist would show the name each time but it wouldn't include the age unless you also add it to the display template. Next question- in Second Site, I know you can choose to have the name tags not print- will that also suppress the name from showing multiple times in the index? Thanks! Sydney Sydney, I use it. I just overlook it i

You'll find that this differs in some respects from the current concept of the register report. If you want to change anything... First select the 'Register (NEG
16. [TMG] Creating a new census tag [1]
I need to create some new census tags for the 1906 and 1911 Canadian census. I copied and renamed my 1881 UK Tag then worked my way through each role altering the dates (where they were entered}. Is there a quicker way of achieving the same thing? I looked at the "find and replace" in TMG Utility using event sentence - but it would have replaced the 1881's from my Census 1881 UK tag as well as the new tags. I couldn't see anything in Events or Tags that would help. regards Judith Upton

19. Re: [TMG] Creating a new census tag [1]
I've solved this one myself I think. I've created a Census - Dummy tag by copying my 1901 tag and then working through each role and entering a date variable in each sentence rather than the actual year. Now I can just copy and rename it for any census. regards Judith

22. Re: [TMG] Punctuation for Date Calculator citation [1]
Hi Bob, and thank you Lee and Glenn. Usually I'm using the age at death, generally from a death certificate, as the source for the date of birth, and my primary citation is, or should be, to that death certificate source. Ditto if that is my only source for the birth record, I use "circa" in the date of birth field. Bob, are you saying that rather than add a second citation, "Date Calculator" you think the program and the mechanism (TMG/date calculator) should not be referenced at all, or that that latte
