1. [TMG] RE: TMG-D Problems [1]
Myrnice, Thanks for the reply about TMG-D not displaying properly. I'll try it. Seems to be a problem with Outlook 5.+ as I have had the problem since upgrading. Reads fine as long as I don't use Outlook. Mick Mickelson jjmick@wt.net

3. [TMG] TMG-D Problems [1]
Does anyone have any ideas why TMG-D will not display properly under Outlook 98 or 2000? Each message is an attachment and must be opened and closed by itself. When I use another program such as NeoPlanet's email program TMG-D is displayed properly with the message listing at the beginning and then each message follows in its entirety. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mick Mickelson jjmick@wt.net
4. Re: [TMG] crashes on opening [0.97081]
Maggie, I used to find the same thing if I had been running several other programs before starting TMG. For a long time now my practice has been to start TMG immediately after booting up my computer each morning. I then minimize it and can happily spend the day with several other programs open at the same time, shut some down and open others etc etc. TMG sits there very happily minimized and I can work on it from time to time as required. Never a problem with TMG - but very occasionally with some of t

This means that your system does not immediately write data to the disk, but save the data in memory for a short time and writes to the disk when there is no or low other activity on the system. I was interrupted and had to close out after offering my comments on Repositories. Now let me tackle how to view endnotes. My approach, (and I am sure there is a better one) goes like this. I run a descendants one generation report to the screen. This will show endnotes or footnotes numbers in the narrative but will not show the endnotes themselves. Then close the narrative report and run an endnote report to screen and you will get a listing of the endnotes themselves. You can, of course, transfer th

Lee, I know you say you are new to computers but I wonder if you let Windows manage your memory would it work? Try this: Go to Windows Settings, Control Panel, select Systems icon. In there select Performance. In this screen the recommended feature is to click on "Let Windows manage my virtual memory settings (Recommended) You could see if the proper box is clicked, if not you could give it a try. Fran and Rae Jean, I had even another Flag experience recently. I had a Flag I called Military, and I had about 10-15 Keys for either arms of the service or for various wars. All of a sudden, all of those Keys reverted back to just ?NY, and all of the data for each individual was then gone. I reported the problem to Wholly Genes, but they said they had never heard of it. I asked if this problem appeared because I had too many Keys, but Wholly Genes said that the number of Keys should not matter. Fra
18. [TMG] Use of paste in geobase [0.97081]
I have "discovered" the GEOBASE feature of UFT. Looks like a great feature, but I am disconcerted by the paste aspect. As a trial I took the city of Norfolk, VA, found it in GEOBASE, and pasted it into a birth event. Here is the relevant part of the event as it prints out in a report: ... at Norfolk, Norfolk (city), VA, Virginia, 365048N0761708W 365144N0761259W 365240N0761734W 365341N0761448W;: : Now it seems to me that the word "(city)" and the duplication of "VA, Virginia" are inappropriate eno

It is the functionality of all Rootsweb lists to echo each post received to the original sender. If you check your inbox and see your message there then it means: 1. You are subscribed to that particular list. You cannot post if not subscribed.; 2. Your message was received and sent to the list's subscribers. Being not as well versed in computerese as my husband, I was wondering if anyone knew how to have all TMG and Re: [TMG] messages sent to a folder in my inbox. Yes, I know I could get the digest, but I like to quickly read and discard or file the individual messages as needed. I nearly discarded a message not related to TMG, so I'd like to have them sent to a separate folder if possible. I have Netscape 4.7. Thanks in advance. HI, I have transferred my data from UFT and have a question concerning a text after doing this. The text says something I don't understand and I am asking if someone knows what it means. You should evaluate the event to which role templates are effected." One of the lines are as follows: Event type "employment" had 2 roles calle
