James, I have had no comment on these thoughts but now you got to me. Suggesting that Bob work Christmas, New Years and whenever or get fired. I got Roots III pretty early. I got advertisements when it was released and had been reading Genealogical Computing fairly regularly at the library. 6. [TMG] Re: Alienating customers [1]
I have moved my 8,000+ name database entirely to v.5 and have no regrets. The program (on my XP system) is powerful, flexible and stable. I am eagerly, but patiently, waiting for the remaining reports. I can, however, understand the frustration of those for whom the report functions are more important - - right NOW - - than they are for me. I also enjoy reading the diplomatic, constructive criticism of those who feel that their knowledge and/or insight can help WG. I DO NOT understand the mind-set of p

I think the problem is that no one else except maybe one or two others who have responded are experiencing the problem. 23. RE: [TMG] Email Source Question [1]
Ron Bernier - If you are listed in the telephone book or a Polks City Directory, then your address and phone number *are* already public information and no one would need your permission to publish them, however, they might wish to do so . . . but that would be out of courtesy only. If your address & phone number are printed on your checks that regularly pass through the hands of the public, again I don't think you can say this is "private" information. 25. Re: [TMG] Concerns about this program HELP [1]
Judie, I will add a suggestion to the other reasons why you should try TMG. You should install TMG Ver 4.0?, then go to www.whollygenes.com and register your copy and download the free upgrade from the version you have to Ver 4.0d. The last version on CD was Ver 4.0c. There are several improvements and minor bug fixes on Ver 4.0d that will make using it easier. Upgrading is very simple and usually straightforward. bob gillis Judie Dunkle wrote: > > Under my Christmas tree is a TMG 4.0 It is my gift
