I made a Toolbar Button for an Individual Narrative Report. I thought it would allow me to view the endnotes, too. I tried everything - but obviously not the right thing. 5. Re: [TMG] TMG-L Eliminate Source Element Groups [1]
Let me weigh in on this topic and tell you what I have done which partially solves the identification of the groups. This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a solution that will work for any of you but hopefully it may give someone a better idea. Probably over a year ago I ran afoul of the limitation of using the same element group more than once. In fact, I had to send my file to TMG to get them to remove certain elements that I had created because there was no way to delete them. But that is anot

8. [TMG] Use of CD (Citaiton Detail) in Bibliography Templates [1]
I was very pleased when I found out that TMG 4.0c had the ability to split the CD into [CD1], [CD2], etc. However, I just found out that using the split does not work in the bibliography template. Where splitting the CD would be most useful is, for example, in Mills Obituary/Newspaper Item citation example. Prior to using 4.0c to make the full footnote, short footnote and bibliographic entry read as her example shows virtually required a separate source for each obituary since the variables, (name of decea

10. [TMG] How to obtain the event number [1]
Several times when performing entry in TMG the dialog window comes up asking for an event number. For all of you who grew up with TMG can you suggest the easiest way to obtain this number? My preference would be to run a report but I have not been able to find a way to output that number in a report. Thanks in advance. Max, From previous posts to this list it appears to be impossible. They will only print out if you run an individual report for the witnesses involved. As I understand it, you can get them to run in the report if you also include them in the memo field of the baptism using the standard sentence. -----Original Message----- From: Max R|egg [mailto:maxruegg@bluewin.ch] Sent: Thursday, January 04, 2001 4:05 PM To: TMG-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TMG] Witnesses not incuded in reports? You're not the only one who's confused; there are two conflicting answers to this issue. The question is: which is the correct solution to the "WinPatch process was aborted" error. Here's part of a message I was lucky enough to catch from 06-Jan. I have my e-mail set so that ANY mail with attachments is filtered to a quarrantine folder. When I see that some mail has come into that folder, I open the folder and if I do not know the sender I delete the message unopened. This has a price. My wife is very angry at me. Many of her friends are into the chain letter type of thing where some cutesy pie poem gets forwarded as an attachment to hundreds of friends and each of those friends sends it to hundreds of theirs and so on and so on. Hi, also in Outlook Express, I have them sorted by Received date AND under View>Current View> I selected 'Group Messages by Conversation', which groups them like 'Threads' (well most of the time) with only the first message with that subject showing and a + in front if there are more. The 'threads' can be deleted all at once or message by message. I find this very helpful in order to follow subjects and to delete those I don't want to read. It identifies circumstances that should be reviewed for correctness. The results of any audit in any field are dependent on the criteria used to conduct the audit. The criteria in TMG are set to identify circumstances that

I enter a birth tag with a birth date of c Mar 1847 and put a note in the memo of "as the age at death was recorded as". The source is the death recird. I have many of these explanary notes as text macros for age at death, age at marriage, age in xxx census.
