1. [TMG] Re: Children Tag [1]
If I create a children tag - to name children that I don't want in my database because I wish to end a line - will those children appear in the index created by TMG? Or, is it only those in the database that appear in an index. 2. [TMG] Re: TMG Tag won't print [1]
I have checked Memos to footnotes. Terry, I also tried a Descendant Narrative with the same results -- I get a period and a footnote. I have several tags for this person with the same setup -- the sentence is <[M]> and they all work fine. There is no exclusion marker! No strange symbols in the sentence! Since I have two residence tags, I even added an * to the second one (which is the one that won't print) and that didn't help either. Any other suggestions? A gremlin? Barb >Terry wrote: >So the
3. [TMG] Placeholder Child [1]
I followed all the messages about this and then searched the archives. I want to do this - but then got confused. I want to do it right the first time! Just do: add child (makes no difference if it is male, female, or unknown). Pick any birth date (don't really need one?). Sort date doesn't matter? Make sure the child has a mother and father. But I will wind up with many surnames on the picklist that have Placeholder Child as a given name. I can't just have one person name Placeholder C
4. [TMG] Tag won't print [1]
I am sure there is a simple solution. . .I have a Residence Tag that refuses to print in an Individual Narrative. All I get is a period with the footnote number. The sentence is <[M]> but my memo won't print! Thanks. 7. [TMG] Moving TMG between drives [0.972017]
Hello, Can anyone offer suggestions for moving TMG from my C drive, which is full, to my E drive? I have a .sqz backup on my E drive and I tried copying TMG to the E drive and then deleting it from C but when I tried to open TMG it gives me the error that there is no dataset. Amy

OK The questions now is. 14. [TMG] TMG upgrade g40_d.exe [0.972017]
Please can you point me in the correct direction? This may have featured in an earlier discussion that I missed. I downloaded the TMG upgrade g40_d.exe to take me from Ver 4.0 to Ver 4.0d and installed it, now, I cannot import anything, just get [none found in IMPORT.INI]. Read the upgrade notes and have searched the FAQ's but nothing on this problem. Any ideas? Thanks and regards Rod Clayburn.

Is it possible to backup message rules and signatures in Outlook Express and if so what is the file extension and where can they be found in Explorer? Thank you for responding to my "?/F or ?/M" question. Prior to importing from FTM I had indicated the sex of these children ( as well as with most of the children) so, now I have to devise a way to get rid of the "?". Thanks also to Lee and Allen for responding to my question on reworking my locations by doing a report - which will print out. Just what I wanted to see. Frankly, since I've had this TMG, I have not done any databasing. This is one of the most complex softwares I've ever used. I just do

Now I consistently get fatal error, error number 41, type: memo file is missing/invalid; program module: MKIDX; line number 227.
